Leonid Utesov Jazz Orchestra
Created in 1929 under the name "Thea-jazz", the first performance of which took place on 8 March on the stage of the Leningrad Maly Opera Theatre.
From 1934 it was called simply the Jazz Orchestra of L. Utyosov, in 1940 it received the status of the State Jazz Orchestra of the RSFSR, from 1947 - the State Variety Orchestra of the RSFSR.
