Paganini & Koshkin is the second Melodiya album for guitarist Artyom Dervoed. It captures his long-term collaboration with composer Nikita Koshkin.

The album combines Megaron, a four-movement concerto for guitar and string orchestra by Nikita Koshkin, and Grande Sonata by Niccolò Paganini arranged by Nikita Koshkin for quartet.
</p>
<p>
Artyom Dervoed won international recognition when he became the first Russian to win two prestigious international competitions at once – the Michele Pittaluga Classical Guitar Competition in Italy and the Infanta Cristina International Guitar Competition in Spain. Over his competing career, he received prizes of thirty-six competitions.

Megaron by Nikita Koshkin was performed in Kazan in November 2017 together with <a href="http://www.la-primavera.org/?lang=en">Kazan chamber orchestra La Primavera</a> conducted by <a href="http://www.la-primavera.org/abyazov/">Rustem Abyazov</a>, one of Russia’s best chamber ensembles.

Alexei Lundin, Kirill Semenovykh, and Daniil Shavyrin, artists of the renowned chamber orchestra Moscow Virtuosi, took part in the recording of the quartet.
