Melodiya presents a digital release with recordings of Antonio Vivaldi violin concertos performed by Liana Isakadze and the State Chamber Orchestra of Georgia.
The album contains recordings of selected Vivaldi violin concertos and the overture to the opera Armida al campo d’Egitto made in 1982.
All solo parts of the concertos are performed by Liana Isakadze, who also conducts the recordings. Gia Melikishvili appears as a second violin in the famous A minor concerto for two violins from L’estro armonico.
