The album Kompozitorskie Chitki [Composers Readins]. Eight New Names comprises works by young Russian composers who are participants in the educational project of the Union of Composers of Russia with the involvement of Moscow Contemporary Music Ensemble (MCME). Eight new opuses represent eight new views on academic composition today. Most of the composers have not turned thirty, and they are from all over Russia — from Nizhny Novgorod and Kazan to Ulan-Ude, from Penza to Chelyabinsk, from St. Petersburg to Novosibirsk.
